Cakes
Huize van Wely offers a range of fourteen different cakes. All made entirely by hand and with the best and purest ingredients. And of course they contain no artificial colouring agents, aromatic substances or flavourings. Our offering varies from a lovely butter cake with or without raisins and subtropical fruits to a layered, more intense chocolate cake that is really a perfect combination of cake and bouchée. Often a single thin slice could do but most of our customers cannot resist the temptation...These cakes are all based on a chocolate cream ganache. Examples are our celebrated Moët & Chandon cake, bitter chocolate Ganache cake, or our diagonally striped Cinnamon cake: layers of cinnamon cake and layers of milk chocolate ganache and cinnamon liqueur.



Sacher Cake
Light chocolate cake with little pieces of chocolate and walnut within and with a layer of raspberry-berryconfiture and almond cream. Covered in bitter chocolate
Moët & Chandon Cake
Almond biscuit with layers of white chocolate and champagne ganache. Covered in almond marzipan and a thin layer of bitter chocolate (serves 8 to 10). Also available in a matching Moët & Chandon|Huize van Wely chest.

Cinnamon Cake
Cinnamon cake drenched in cinnamon liqueur with layers of milk chocolate and cinnamon ganache. Covered in bitter chocolate and decorated with diagonal strips of cocoa powder and powdered sugar (serves 8 to 10)

Ganache Cake
Heavy, bitter chocolate cake with layers of an extra bitter chocolate ganache covered in bitter chocolate, pollinated with cocoa powder and an almond marzipan decoration on top (serves 8 to 10)
Moscato Dolce Cake
Almond biscuit with pistachio flakes, layers of white chocolate and Mionetto ganache with a hint of peach. Covered in almond marzipan and a thin layer of pure chocolate, decorated with chopped pistachio and powdered sugar (serves 8 to 10).
